Compliance Mediation Services was founded after witnessing the apathy of many mediators. Perhaps many of today’s mediators have become bored over the years, but we have become disheartened by the lack of dedication to the settlement process. We longed for the mediators of years gone by who used to follow up with multiple calls after the mediation to try and settle the case; or mediators who would not “let” parties leave before trying every last mediator’s technique to settle the case. Nowadays, it seems that a lot of mediators don’t seem to care if the cases settle or not – As long as they get their fee for the day, they are happy.

If your case doesn’t settle on mediation day one, don’t expect us to disappear. We stay engaged—following up with calls, emails, and creative proposals, even suggesting a second session if our mediators believe it could help get the deal done. 

Compliance Mediation Services was established to provide the legal community with persistent and results-driven mediators who simply do not believe in giving up on a settlement. We are not like those mediators who act merely as messengers, shuffling information or numbers between parties until an impasse or settlement is reached. We do not subscribe to that practice. Our mediators are relentless in their pursuit of resolution, utilizing every mediation tool available to bridge gaps and facilitate agreements. If a mediation does not result in an immediate settlement or agreement, we will continue working—following up with parties in the days and weeks after to explore every possible path to resolution.
